Straddling the equator, the Maldives enjoys sunshine throughout the year. The southwest monsoon from May to November brings welcome rain and sometimes rough seas. Even then, the sun seems to shine and the temperatures remain at an average of 28 to 31 degrees Celsius throughout the year. |
