Rufiyaa is the Maldivian currency but the US dollar and other hard currency are widely accepted in the resorts and shops in Male’. The rate is currently Rf.11.72 to US$1.00. At Kani, prices are calculated in US dollars. Dollars can be changed at shops and banks in Male’ for Rufiyaas. |
