| Dive School
The
dive centre is equipped with two electric BAUER-compressors with
a total capacity of 700 l/min. There are also 100 aluminium tanks
with DIN/INT valves, 30 SCUBAPRO regulators with octopus and pressure-gauge,
40 SUB-GEAR BCD jackets, 20 EURODIVERS wetsuits, 20 underwater lamps,
38 ALADIN diving computers and masks, fins and snorkels in sufficient
numbers.
You can keep your own
equipment in our dive centre out on the jetty from where the courses,
lagoon dives and diving-excursions launch from. You do not need
to carry it back and forth. There is fresh water in order to rinse
your equipment and areas to dry it plus a well-equipped workshop
for basic maintenance and service.
We have
a number of vessels at our disposal, fast going fibre glass and
traditional wooden dhonis, all equipped with life vests, first-aid
equipment, DAN-oxygen kits, communication-radios, ladders, spare
equipment and surface balloons.
The
friendly, experienced and well-trained boat crew carries your equipment
to and from the boat and gladly helps in every other way they can.
Every
day we offer one boat dive excursion in the morning and one in the
afternoon. In addition to that there are full day excursions, weekly
boat night dives and early morning dives or even more on request.
We arrange individual diving excursions by speedboat or dhoni. Normally
your diving holiday starts with an orientation dive free of charge.
It is only on New Year’s day that we let the diving equipment dry.
Our
dive staff is trained in Medic First Aid and CPR. For emergencies
there is a Medical Centre with a decompression chamber located on
another island just 30 minutes away.
The
dive centre’s office and shop are open every day between 07.00 PM
and 08.00 PM. The dive staff will help you in anyway with planning
your diving-holiday, your diving-courses or if you have any questions
about the underwater world.
In the
shop you will find fashion products and dive equipment for sale.
So come
and join us. Our diving organisation, EURODIVERS, has the longest
experience of scuba-diving in resorts in Maldives. We will show
you the best dive sites in North Male’ Atoll.
Diving
Rules
All
diving organisations and resorts have rules, for your safety, to
respect the aquatic life and in order to make your diving holiday
unforgettable. These rules will also help to preserve the natural
beauty of the underwater world for the future generations of divers.
